Vegano Mezo is a true hidden gem in Berlin! The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming — you can really feel that hospitality is taken seriously here. The food is unbelievably delicious, with a large variety of dishes and very generous portions. Everything tastes fresh and made with love.

The place itself is quite small and not so cozy, but the amazing food makes up for it. I’ll definitely be back and can highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for outstanding vegan food.

I came rather late in the evening. Vegano Mezo is a lovely small all vegan restaurant with many Syrian/ Middle Eastern dishes.
Read moreThe lentil soup was really delicious, the makdous was very rich and the Milchreis was fresh, sweet and so delicious. As a drink I had the refreshing Mezo tea. Filled up extra for free. To go I had the 4 small baklava pieces and date with pistachio and cookies.

Great all vegan mezze place! We got a mix of hot and cold dishes, not expensive at all and super tasty. The hot dishes were served in the sizzling pan, and I specifically loved the baba ganoush. Mezo runs this all by himself, very impressive. He was super friendly, we got a free desert and took the leftovers home. Don't skip this place!

A cosy spot with a very friendly owner. We had a delicious, creamy fateh makdusk and a baklava, and we got a sweet almond milk rice cake for free. The portions are good and overall atmosphere very homely.

Das Essen ist immer lecker und es wird ordentlich aufgetischt - hungrig geht hier niemand raus!
Der Laden ist etwas klein, was aber nicht schlimm ist.
Zudem dauert die Zubereitung seine Zeit, da alles frisch zubereitet wird.
Für mich ist das nicht schlimm, sollte aber eingeplant werden.😄

Best food spot in Berlin - Edit
Living in Berlin I can say that this is the best food spot I have ever been to. Me and my friends had the fateh, the mixed grill plate and some dish with cauliflower. Delicious! Thanks Mezo! And you also have to try the Desert with almond milk!

The restaurant is small and the looking unfortunately somewhat disorganized and untidy. The host was very friendly and hospitable. The dishes ordered were really tasty, but some ingredients did not look fresh (e.g., cross-sections of fresh vegetables, pomgrenade seeds), it was really fatty and heavy(!), and there was a long hair in one dish. Bread was served in plastic bags. Given the extensive menu and what appears to be a one-man show, this is hardly surprising. Therefore, unluckily I was not able to completely enjoy the dishes. We got a dessert for free and they also offered as some coffee, which was quiet nice.

On a corner of a big road in Friedrichshain near Frankfurter Tor, this is a small, purely vegan place with great middle eastern mezze and food options, lovely service and an extensive menu to cover all tastes. Portions were huge! Staff were super nice and worked very hard to make everything right. Small number of tables, seem to be able to take out as well as eating in.

The food is amazing!! Very diversified meals! The portions are bigger then usual. I ordered an appetizer, but it was the size of a main course. We ended up with too much food. But it was very tasty and the staff was really friendly :)

Good sandwich but insanely dry kebab - Edit
I had a sandwich that was super tasty. My partner ordered the vegan kebab and it was so dry that it was hard to eat it, not okey to serve. The server was super friendly and gave us a dessert as a gift.

Definitely try the grill mix teller! Probably the best meat alternatives I've ever eaten. It's also not made out of seitan, which is a huge plus for me (no stomach ache after, thanks! < 3).

Opening hours on Google Maps are correct. Since even 3 weeks later the opening hours on the app are not updated really you are the one who should give yourself a 2 star rating for not updating the hours rather than blaming the restaurant 🙄 who is supposed to update the hours here if not us users?! It's everyone's responsibility.
