I ordered The Tuscany sandwich with a side of macaroni salad. Anywhere else I would have enjoyed half the sandwich and saved the other half however it was so good I happily consumed the entire sandwich. I look forward to trying different menu items.

I started with their bestseller breakfast burrito, and it delivers exactly what you want in a classic breakfast build — hearty, flavorful, and properly balanced. The potatoes are cooked right, the textures work, and nothing feels like filler. It’s satisfying without being overly heavy.

The sun-dried tomatoes give it depth, the salsa verde cuts through beautifully, and the chorizo adds that extra savory punch. In my opinion, it actually outshined the bestseller.
If you’re someone who appreciates a protein-forward, well-crafted breakfast burrito with intention behind the flavors, this is a spot worth pulling up to.

RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS — that’s how we describe Maciel’s Plant-Based Butcher Shop @maciels.plant.butcher. We make an excuse to stop here every time we are even close to the Highland Park neighborhood in Los Angeles. Their sandwiches are beyond amazing — the steak and bleu cheese is hands-down our favorite. And, their desserts are truly the icing on the cake of a delightful vegan culinary experience. We usually buy vegan cheeses for later. Incredibly helpful staff. And, we always seem to meet the nicest people while dining in the restaurant, too. Thank you and gracias, Maciel’s!!!

I was in the area and found this gem on the app! It was recommended to have The Flores and is was outstanding. Expertly crafted, full of amazing flavors, great texture, fresh and filling. I also had the potato salad which was also great. Also a large selection of vegan cheeses and other delectables to take home. This is a can’t miss! I’ll be back in a few days.

Read moreI’ve loved everything I’ve ever ordered at Maciel’s. The breakfast burrito? Amazing. The Reuben? Perfect. The French toast? Even my toddler loves it. I’m not big on faux meat, but most of their proteins are made in-house and they are delicious.
This place is a gem and the staff are great.

Cannot go wrong. We got the rueben, the Smokey, the coleslaw, the spiced cake, the mint brownie, and the hibiscus tea. Everything was the best I’ve ever had, with large portions and great service. Definitely worth the drive. Come hungry!!

I'm not in this area much, but when I am I have to stop here. Top notch sandwiches, friendly help. I've never had a bad item here, not even a mediocre item. The Ruben is fat and loaded. The Smokey is a flavor explosion. The Pastrami French Dip scratched that umami itch.

Passing through the area and had to stop as I’ve heard so much about this place. Got the pesto chicken sandwich and blonde bar. The sandwich was amazing, and the bar quite good. Also picked up a side of chorizo and queso to take home. It looked like they had some delicious specials on the board that day too. Everything I heard about it turned out to be true and it was worth the detour to visit.
