I was just walking down the street when I saw this and realized I needed a Bahn mi. Can’t think of many cities where finding vegan places is so easy. Love this about Saigon.

We all need a 24/7 Banh Mi place - Edit
Banh Mi Xanh wins my heart just because it’s open 24/7. Went there early before a tour to get some coffee and banh mi. Even though it was 7 am the service was amazing, the guy working spoke very good English, made me one of the best coffees I had so far in Vietnam, and even card to ask if I wanted less sugar on my (peanut)butter and sugar banh mi. I didn’t know that I did until he asked. They have ~12 comfortable chairs outside so I could sit and wait for the sandwich. Simple things like that can really make my morning a happy one. I’ll gladly go back if I have to wake up early another day.

A nice stand for a quick banh mi and a coffee. Ive tried the sausage banh mi, nut milk, and boba. The drinks are sugary but yummy and the sandwiches are light. Great for an easy snack or small meal.

They only had 4 items on the menu, I expected more tbh. They didn't have the tofu option so I took the sausage and salad, which is made feom mushrooms. A great quick option to have for us vegans, but nothing to rave about.

We've had mixed vegan banh mi with jasmine lemon tea there and all was delicious! Our banh mis were quite big so you should develop some hunger before going there:) They have 4 tables set on the street so you can sit comfortably and watch the city life going on while you eat. Strongly recommended!

We stopped here during a vegan food tour and tried their signature bánh mì. The sandwich tasted incredibly fresh — the bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside, exactly how a bánh mì should be.
Read moreOne interesting twist was the addition of peanut butter. At first I wasn’t sure, but it actually worked really well, almost like a mild peanut sauce that blended seamlessly with the veggies and tofu. The whole sandwich came together really nicely and felt balanced and satisfying.
Overall, a delicious stop and definitely worth trying if you’re in District 1!

Easy to spot & great location Amazing drink options quite a few banh mi to choose from. Went with a group and still all got very quick & attentive service all really enjoyed what they ordered. I ordered the vegan mixed a drink (can’t remember the name) it had lots of fillings herbs which i loved & peanut butter which was unique but worked so well!!

It was super tasty (especially the spicy tofu) and the price was good. We went there twice for breakfast. The portion is not super huge so for lunch or dinner you'd maybe have to order twice. Although they also have a large Banh Mi, didn't try that though.

Late night Banh Mi - Edit
This was a pleasant surprise, I was walking back to my hotel room after a few beers and stumbled across this place. The spicy tofu sandwich really hit the spot. I wish they toasted the bread a little just before serving, it would have made it the ultimate deal. But even not toasted it was still great, I’ll definitely come back for more. Highly recommended.
